Welcome, to the State Employee Charitable Giving Campaign (SECGC) application process.
We are going to do a Rotunda Kickoff on September 25th. That registration will open after we have approved registrations. Please scroll to the bottom of this page to sign up for the event on or after July 1st.
Please fill out the appropriate application for your organization type - Independent, Federation, or Affiliate (descriptions below). If you have previously participated in the SECGC campaign, then your SECGC number remains the same. Please find it in your 2023 results letter emailed in February 2024 or in the Giving Guide available at charitablegiving.mt.gov. If not, an SECGC number will be assigned to you after acceptance into the campaign.
Please note: the Independent, Federation, and Affiliate applications are for campaign participation as a whole, simply making your organization a pickable option for state employees to donate to through the campaign.
This does not automatically register you for the Campaign Kickoff Event in the Capitol Rotunda in Helena, which is optional. That registration is separate (with an additional $25 fee regardless of organization type), and space is limited to 70 organizations - first come, first serve.

2024 SECGC registration is Open.
Federation: an organization that operates with affiliated nonprofits under their umbrella network (EarthShare, Independent Charities of America, Neighbor to Nation, United Way, Etc.) This application is $65. An invoice will be sent to you.
Affiliate: an organization that is affiliated with a federation and operates in it's umbrella network . This application is $5 for each affiliate under a federation. An invoice will be sent to the Federations for each of their affiliate applications.
Independent: an organization with no partner affiliations filing solely on its own, as its own entity.

This Independent Organization application is for any Montana 501(c)3 who is NOT part of a federation such as United Way, Montana Shares, Independent Charities of America, Earthshare, etc. Please let us know if you have any questions as you are applying for campaign participation.
